About the Founder

LeafLoop is founded by Yashneeil Singh, who holds a B.Tech in Agricultural and Food Engineering and a Master’s degree in Food Process Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where he graduated as a silver medalist in his department.

With a strong academic foundation in agriculture, food systems, and controlled environment growing, he brings a deep understanding of how to design systems that are both efficient and practical for real-world use.

Before starting LeafLoop, Yashneeil spent over a decade working in technology-driven startups, gaining experience in building scalable, reliable systems and delivering high-quality solutions in dynamic environments. This combination of agricultural expertise and corporate experience shapes LeafLoop’s approach—bringing structure, consistency, and execution focus to home hydroponics.

He believes that access to clean, fresh, and nutritionally rich food should not be complicated or uncertain. Having seen both the potential of hydroponics and the gap in its practical adoption at home, he is on a mission to make it simple and accessible—so more people can take control of what they eat, without the burden of managing it themselves.
